Not really a reply to this thread, though I agree with Rick's comment.  I've been having trouble posting to the list. I'd appreciate knowing whether this reply is "seen."  Thanks in advance.

 I think the suggestion that you visually inspect the sac for any burrs or protrusions is about right. The pen should not need resaccing any more often than any other pen.
